ASPIRING entrepreneurs now have a map to follow as they set out on the path to success.

Regional Development Australia Central West has launched what is describes as an "Entrepreneurial Ecosystem road map".

The map, according to RDA Central West CEO Sam Harma, identifies and brings together the organisations across the Central West that support entrepreneurs, start-ups and small businesses.

It includes everything from co-working spaces to advisory services.

"Starting a business takes vision and hard work and there are always challenges aplenty," Mr Harma said.

"If we can help by providing a pathway to the right advice and guidance, that's a win."

Gerarda Mader, of Upstairs start-up hub in Bathurst, said it was exciting to see other centres opening throughout the region "who are also designed to support new and innovative businesses and ideas".

"It is essential for businesses and founders to know where to find resources along a pathway for success," she said.

"We have recently held our Regional Pitchfest event which saw Sally Hennessy, from Beyond Vision Travel [which aims to run tours for people with a vision impairment], the successful winner.

"Sally will go to Sydney to compete in the next round, with the finals taking place in Wagga in September.

"With more access to resources in the region, we can look forward to more successful start-ups."
