Paula Taylor

Paula is the Executive Director of the OzAPP Awards which aims to foster dialogue and collaboration between innovators, researchers, investors and industry, and to further stimulate innovative business culture in WA and throughout Australasia. 

The OzAPP Awards is part of The West Tech Fest a week long annual event for the West Australian start-up and tech community – attracting tech leaders and investors from the US, Europe, Asia and from around Australia. The festival has become a key, annual event for the West Australian startup and tech community – attracting tech leaders and investors from the US, Europe, Asia and from around Australia. 

Paula is also the Regional Director APAC for London based creative organisation D&AD. She is tasked with developing the organisation's long-term growth plans, education programmes and campaigns for diversity and gender balance in the region. 

Paula is also the Founder of Tech Frontiers, running hackathons and innovation programmes that address key global challenges.

Paula brings a solid understanding of the creative, digital, tech startup, and social enterprise landscape. She works cross-functionally, across project teams and geographical borders on a number of global programs.

Her areas of focus include: design thinking, the interface between tech, brands and creativity, social enterprise, education, sustainable living, technology trends, disruptive ventures, lean startups, and the business of innovation.
